2009.

The Surgery Department at SIMS Medical Center has
an operating room, prep and storage room, and scrub room located in the
suite.
The surgery suite is one of the best environments to bring several
disciplines together. Respiratory Care can provide anesthesia
services while Surgical Technology and Nursing students perform the
surgical procedure.
By combining patient simulation and mechanical based surgical
simulators, a patient can have an actual operation. Examples are
tubal ligation, bowel resection, hysterectomy, and breast biopsy. Contact foss@stcc.edu for
