Apply to a Health Career Program
Take the steps below when applying:
1. See Admissions
for easy instructions on how to apply to the College.. You may be able to apply on line for some programs.

2. Talk to the faculty member in charge of
the program to which you wish to apply. Be sure to ask about special requirements, pre-requisites
and technical standards. Nursing Program applicants must take the HESI
exam to be considered.
3. Read the program description and requirements
for the program to which you wish to apply. (Check pre-requisites and technical standards listed under each
program.)
4. Contact Financial
Aid Office to see what assistance may be available. There are
financial aid deadlines to be met.
5. Admissions will send you the
Health
Requirements for your program. Be sure to complete all forms and
return to Health Services, located in building 20, third floor. Look for
the curved glass wall when you get off the elevator.
6. Be sure to complete all forms and submit them as soon as possible. There
is no College application deadline, but the Admissions Office suggests
submission before the end of January. Health Program Directors may set an
application deadline for a specific program in any given application cycle.
7. Applicants who are not accepted into a health
program are automatically accepted into the General
Studies Health Core. Students in the Health Core need to use the
Intracollege Transfer form to apply to a School of Health program. Be sure to
see your advisor for assistance.
